We were founded in 1992, when Mr. Krish Pillay our managing director recognised a need for a detergent company that combined premium products and service for the cleaning market. Krish Pillay has over 3 decades of learnt experience in the detergent industry, having worked for the likes of Chemserve and Unilever. Mr. Pillay’s skills are both technical and marketing. His hands on approach to Chemlog operations has ensured years of flawless running.

Chemlog has a staff compliment of 33, whom have a combined staff experience in the chemical industry of over 200 years.

Chemlog has a range of approximately 100 types of products, affiliated products and equipment to cater for the wide spectrum of differing customer requirements.

Chemlog is the only KZN based manufacturing company to have 9 products SABS mark bearing and products certified for the use in the food industry, as per SABS Certification website, June 2007.

We are approved dealers of Numatic International Floorcare Equipment. Vacuum Cleaners, Floor Polishers, Auto Scrubbers, Mopping Equipment, Servocare Equipment and Hotel Hospitality Trolleys for the cleaning industry needs. Since July 2002 Chemlog has been an approved distributor for 3M Food Services Trade and Floorcare Products. Floorcare Pads,, Oil Monitor Kits and Kitchen and Hand Scourers.

The aim of Chemlog is to be able to anticipate and meet the needs of our clients. We achieve this objective through the unwavering pursuit of excellence in our products and services. This effort for improvement to achieve total customer satisfaction, Chemlog is proud to be accredited with the SABS ISO 9001:2000 certification since October 2000.

Chemlog is a member of the Proudly South African Campaign, Responsible Care, FEDHASA – the hospitality industry association, NCCA – National Cleaning Contractors Association as an associate member. Chemlog has a Level 1 BBBEE rating. Chemlog has international representation with independent branches operating in Mauritius since 1991 and Swaziland since 1995. Chemlog Mauritius was voted SMME Company of the year 2004.
